Centrora Security 6.5 – Boost the website performance with PHP 7

We are delighted to annouce the release of new Centrora Security 6.5 which shares the extraordinary performance boost with PHP 7. Now it’s completely compatible with PHP 7. Please update Centrora to the latest version on your website first and then upgrade to PHP 7.
PHP 7 has been released for a while. In the tests on all popular systems, it increases the website speed significantly. Now you don’t need to worry about the security after updating to PHP 7 as Centrora Security is ready to protect your websites on PHP 7.

PHP 7 Performance

Also, as a Firewall software, Centrora can benefit from all its new features and improvements, among which the significant advantage of PHP 7 is its big performance improvement. It’s tested to be able to twice the speed compared to the old versions. The firewall can hence consume less system resources, lower CPU and memory, to run more silently and also has a faster reaction speed to the suspicious activities to reduce the website page load time.

Also, with the release some minor bug fixes are included.
